πŸ’Ό About Us

Quipu is a cloud-based SaaS solution founded over 10 years ago with a single goal: to simplify the often overwhelming administrative and accounting processes for small businesses, freelancers, and consultancies. Two years ago, we joined forces with Sellsy, the leading CRM in France. Together, we provide our clients with a holistic business management solution that goes beyond invoicing and cash flow to deliver a fully integrated experience. We are a vibrant team of 200+ professionals from 20+ nationalities, with offices in Barcelona, Bordeaux, and La Rochelle. Our ambition? To become a recognized European leader in business solutions.

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team! The role of a QA Engineer is divided into two parts:

1. Manual Testing:

  • You are an integral part of an agile team consisting of a Product Owner and back-end and front-end developers.
  • You provide valuable assistance to developers by giving them feedback on their developments. This helps them understand changes and their proper implementation.
  • You conduct exploratory testing sessions in small groups to ensure the proper functioning of the feature as a whole.
  • Finally, you monitor production bugs and their correction to ensure customer satisfaction.

2. Automated Testing:

  • You implement new automated tests following existing code best practices.
  • End-to-End tests using the Cypress JavaScript framework and a Page Object Model architecture.
  • API tests using the Postman tool and endpoint sequencing.
  • You are responsible for deployment pipelines in GitLab and update GitLab CI scripts when necessary.

πŸ“– What You’ll Do

  • Support the Quipu team in ensuring the quality of deliveries.
  • Understand user stories and verify the consistency of developments.
  • Perform manual testing on various user stories.
  • Check automated test reports and correct/modify them if necessary.
  • Participate in the implementation and maintenance of automated tests.
  • Add new End-to-End test scenarios as needed (using the Cypress framework).
  • Add new API tests as required (using the Postman tool).
  • Maintain and monitor automated tests, updating them when errors occur.
  • Contribute to the improvement of the automated testing framework (e.g., transitioning to TypeScript, considering a migration from Postman to another tool, etc.).

πŸš€ How We Imagine You

  • Eagle-eyed, detail-oriented and curious
  • Organised team player
  • Quick learner and efficient time manager
  • Fluent in English

⭐ Bonus Points

  • Knowledge of a JavaScript automated testing framework
  • Familiarity with Shell/Bash commands
  • Experience in an agile working environment, such as Scrum
